This is the first part of the story I intend to submit for the Dreamkeepers 2011 Halloween contest. I'm hoping to get it judged well in the horror category. I doubt it'll be that good in their eyes, though, because I'm going for psychological horror over the traditional scream your guts out horror.

I chose Namah for the victim for two reasons. Firstly, she's my favorite character. Second, I can think of more ways to screw with her mind than I can for the rest of the cast, save Mace, but I don't think I'd be able to use him in a way that would satisfy me.

Delrex is one of my OCs adapted to the DK world. His power is a mist that interferes with a person's senses. He can make even the weakest of his punches feel like a boulder to the head. The flash of magenta light was actually his mist manifesting everywhere at once. Since Delrex is a manipulator, not a fighter, he gave Lilith, Mace and Whip only a vague idea of what Namah is going through and let them scare themselves trying to think of what is happening inside her mind, since the mind is where all senses are perceived.
