Merry Christmas, everybody!

That said, I've had a revelation about Christmas literally a moment ago. I honestly don't care about receiving gifts anymore. I have money now, if I want something I'll just buy it for myself. Christmas is now more about getting gifts for others. The reason for this isn't the act of giving, though. I just want to see people's reactions to what I got them, whether it's the Magic: The Gathering cards for my dad or the veggie chips I bought for my brother (his entire list was, and I quote, "vegan treats") I just want to see how the react to what I got them.


I just know my sister is going to completely use up her $25 Chipoltle gift card before the day's over...

Happy Pollute the Air with a Butt-Ton of Fireworks Day!

Seriously, it was so humid that the smoke from the fireworks didn't rise and blocked the entire second half of the fireworks. Which really sucks because that meant we were actually inside the cloud of smoke. I honestly regret going to see the fireworks this year.

Just needed to get this off my chest.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over while expecting different results each time. So taking into consideration SOPA has resurfaced, how else would you describe the government?

So, yeah, it seems SOPA is back. I'm trying to get the word out so we can beat the idiots who think it's a good idea with a bloody mallet again. For those of you who don't know what SOPA is, to put it bluntly, it's censoring the entire internet. All those awesome artists out there who draw incredible art of things like anime, video games, cartoons, even books... they're all gonna go to prison for making artwork of a copyrighted item. So yeah, the majority of deviantART will become criminals. That's my problem with SOPA, anyway. If you want more info on SOPA, look it up, you'll probably find someone better than me who can explain it all.

Not ten minutes ago, my cat died. I imagine last night was the worst of his life. All alone in the dark, his body shivering nonstop, nobody around to comfort him. He died in my mom's arms. I didn't sleep last night because I was afraid of the thoughts I knew I'd think of once I was laying in bed. I'm thinking of them now. I can hear my sister crying upstairs. At least she has a way to express her sorrow. I don't. I don't really know how to express my feelings. And now it's snowing. The ground will be too hard to bury him in. I hope it stops soon. I wish I could give my cat my life, so that he could leave much longer. I'd willingly give my life for Spots. And now he's gone.
